Accelerate Resources maps 200+ manganese outcrops ahead of September drilling

Accelerate Resources CEO Luke Meter talked with Proactive about the latest exploration results from the Woodie Woodie North Manganese Project, where the company has mapped more than 200 manganese outcrops and occurrences across approximately 9.7 hectares. Meter said recent work combining field mapping, LiDAR data, rock-chip sampling and gravity surveying was helping Accelerate build a clearer picture of the scale and structural controls of the manganese system. Rock-chip sampling returned grades of up to 58.4% manganese, while the gravity data has helped identify structural corridors that may have acted as pathways for hydrothermal mineralisation. He explained that the company is particularly interested in areas where structures intersect, as these locations could potentially host larger or higher-grade mineralised bodies. Accelerate is preparing to drill priority targets. The program is intended to test whether the surface mineralisation continues below ground and to identify potential root systems that could provide greater scale at depth. The company is also planning metallurgical diamond drilling at Area 42, where an existing resource of around 700,000 tonnes at almost 21% manganese has previously been defined. This work will assess potential direct shipping ore characteristics and possible processing pathways. Further mapping and sampling are also planned across the broader corridor between the key prospect areas and Area 42 as Accelerate Resources continues to assess the extent of the mineralised system.
