Titan Minerals extends gold-silver mineralisation at Dynasty

Titan Minerals CEO Melanie Leighton talked with Proactive about the latest drilling results from the company’s Dynasty Gold Project in southern Ecuador, where extensional and infill drilling continues to expand and upgrade the known gold-silver mineralisation. Leighton highlighted a new result of 16 metres at 2.8 grams per tonne gold and 9.1 grams per tonne silver, which delivered an additional 30-metre step-out on one lode. She explained that the latest announcement also included a number of infill results, with broad mineralised zones in the range of around 15 to 20 metres and grades of up to approximately 2.6 to 2.8 grams per tonne gold. According to Leighton, the drilling is contributing both additional mineralisation outside the current resource and greater confidence within existing resource areas. The latest results follow another intercept reported the previous week of just over 33 metres at 6.6 grams per tonne gold and 55 grams per tonne silver, which Leighton said also sits outside the current resource. Titan Minerals is expanding its extensional and infill drilling campaign to around 30,000 metres, with work expected to continue through the end of the year and potentially into January. The company is targeting an updated resource in the first quarter of next year, with the expanded and upgraded resource expected to feed into the Dynasty Gold Project scoping study, which is also targeted for Q1. Four diamond rigs are currently operating at the project, with an RC rig due to be added in October to test new extensions and more exploratory areas before potential follow-up diamond drilling.
