A Parenting Crisis

When it comes to school, we thought that if we put the right parameters in place, if we put them in a school with extra resources that suited their learning styles and if we gave them tutors when they needed extra help that we wouldn't have to be a part of the learning and teaching. And by "we", we mean Nat. It turns out that is not the case. An alarm bell recently went off when one our kids expressed a lot of emotions over school work. We have to be careful as parents, working harder doesn't mean working better. It would have been so helpful to have heard that growing up!
