I was in processing at Fort Hood, Texas, going through briefings. Red Cross lady came in, said a plane just hit the towers. It's a horrible accident. 45 minutes later, the next briefer said, another plane hit the towers, mean a grizzled old, sartan first class looked at each other. And we said it at the same time. We're going to war.

3:03Michael, 25 years ago, I was eight sitting on the couch, eating my bowl of life cereal, getting ready for school. When my grandma called, my mom had her flip to the nose. And I don't think I made her into school till about noon that day when we watched everything on TV. Yep, still burning into my mind. Michael, can in Sarasota, Florida, on 9-11, I had a 10 to 6 shift at the Memphis ARTCC. My wife and I watched NBC that morning and saw the planes hit the towers. I went to work at 10 o'clock and there were no airplanes in the sky in our coverage from Tulsa East to Bowling Green to South down to the Gulf. All those planes were on the ground and we did nothing for a week. Take care. Good morning from South Dakota. This past June, my wife and I took a trip to Pennsylvania. One of the destinations was to stop at Changsville to see the light 93 memorial.

4:07It is quite a somber place and it was really I don't even know how to put it in words but it was quite the experience. Everyone have a great day. Michael, 25 years ago this morning, I was getting ready to board a plane at DIA with my mom having just watched the first game in the Broncos New Stadia. I'm in Biscoe Field at the time. We traveled from Central California to make this trip to see the game and we didn't end up flying back. We ended up driving back a few days later. Mike, they want to raise our taxes now for a train to Fort Collins. Why don't these clowns in the state go and fix our roads? 25 years ago, I was sitting in my small town, high school, and rural Nebraska in humanities classes towards the end of class when stuff went down and then going on to second period, which was language arts or like English.

5:07And I can remember writing about it in our daily journaling. And I remember looking back, not knowing how to spell Osama bin Laden. Hi, Michael. This is Kathleen. Yes, indeed. Vote no no on the Coco. There is absolutely no reason for this to be built. And there's a great book called Remancing, Remance of the Rails. And it's all about how we have this nostalgia for the trains. I too love trains, but not this one. Not in my lifetime. Michael 9-11-01, I was working in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My wife was pregnant with our first child. She was staying at the resort. She called me at the hospital that I was working at. And she said, a plane just flew into World Trade Center. I said, are you kidding? She said, no. I went to the hospital lobby and watched on the TV as the second plane hit. Unbelievable. I just got out of the Navy. Very concerned that we're going to call me back. I would have called the bell. I would have returned. Fortunately they did not. God bless our sailors, soldiers, airmen.

6:08Hey, Michael. Yeah, I remember 9-11 quite vividly. I was a telecommunications consultant for ex-ill energy. And in our operations center that was downtown at the time, we controlled the power grid for 12 states. And there was a definite concern that our building was going to get hit. And we're going to be taken out. We, as I'm watching the Trade Center towers go down on the big screen TVs in our ops center, we're getting ready to bug out. December 11, 2001. Working in the hospital, eat the Lansing Michigan. Someone ran in, said that plane had hit the building. Three quarters staff ran out, quickly realized it wasn't our building. It was in the New York City Trade Towers. Serters are canceled the rest of the day. We're with the TV. Absolutely bonkers day. Now I'll never, ever, ever forget.
