Just thought i'd send you these beginner resources to help you understand the Yi/Iching better...don't worry it's not very indepth, perfect for the novice:

This is the book i recommend you getting if you wanted a curious-read. A very, very, very, VERY good book on the Yi; comes at you from a self-help point of view rather than pure divination. Jack truly understands the Yi and the hexagrams and is able to express the hidden meanings succintly without going through all the technicalities. Perfect for busy people like yourself:
