78: Decoding Couples with Stacey Sherrell + Rachel Facio

About this episode

Today we are joined by Rachel Facio, LMFT and Stacey Sherrell, LMFT. They are two licensed marriage and family therapists based in California, near Los Angeles, and are the founders of Decoding Couples.  In this episode, we discuss how couples therapy works, how it can be helpful, and what it might look like to decide to start. We also get into when we should seek therapy for ourselves and with our partner.  Additionally, we talk about how our past experiences and attachment style can impact the way we relate to others as adults. Stacey and Rachel do a great job at unpacking all of this and explaining how boundaries play an important role in the way we manage any conflict or discomfort in our relationships.  It's a great episode, and I know you'll love it, as they merely scratch the surface of some truly interesting topics.
