We to be able to talk 49ers actual game. They go out. They dominate the Rams. So I just want to kind of do a little volume back and forth. Take this conversation where it's got to go. You know, most recent news, the 40 years did sign defensive tackle. McKinley jacks into the practice squad getting some more defensive tackle depth. I don't think he's going to be much of a factor. He has a big good. He's only 24 years old. Former third round pick, but you've got to get more bodies in that defensive tackle room.

6:18What were your thoughts just on the defensive tackles and defensive line overall for the 40 Niders and week one versus the Rams? It depends on how you want to look at it, right? So overall, I think they were decent as far as when it come to generating pressure. But when it came to stopping the run, they were getting gashed right up the middle. And I think that losing Alfred Collins and not having the sure fire rotational piece for Alfred Collins, big body, big big guy to help plug the middle. I think the nineers are going to have to do some due diligence in their searching. I don't know what McKinley jacks is going to bring to the table. I don't know if he's a good run stuffing defensive tackle, but at the end of the day, they're going to have to figure that out because we got Devon H and coming up. And I'm not saying he's an inside runner. But if Nick Bolsa, because if Nick Bolsa continues to play the way he played on Thursday night and far as containing the edge, well, Devon H and is going to be coming inside runner.

7:19Like, it's just, you know, a bit of run outside. And so we got to be able, if we, if we got gashed by Blake Korm, think about the speed of Devon H and bro. So I'm not nervous or anything like that when it comes to the team that we're playing. I'm not sleeping on these dolphins. Don't get it twisted. But when I go back to the week one film, I'm like, yo, why are we getting gashed? Like, and that's a problem. It's been a problem. It's been a problem ever since they lost, excuse me, they traded the forest Buckner has never been the same as far as the stop for stopping the run up the middle. As far as defensive tagels and their pressures, we get into the court. We're getting pressure. So that's a plus. I do like that. I will also said that you did just quote say, I'm not sleeping on. And then that is just perfect. I love that you just said that way. I'm sorry, but you are the best of the best. And yeah, there were problems because there was, I think it was the second quarter where they just ran the ball up the middle like four times in a row. And they

8:22were getting like six, seven yards apiece, but then the score got so far behind that they kind of had a banded that that was the one area the Rams offense actually had success. Now, intermediate, you talk about the dolphins. I do want to talk about the dolphins some today. And you brought up devineging by far one of the most explosive running backs. He's that kind of one yard, two yard, 30 yard running back where it's just low, low, low, low, low, low, low, sleep, then bam. That is there. Do you think defensive tackle was the biggest weakness on this team? I think safety. I think we've talked about tight input George Kiddles back. And we've talked about left guard. But man, Connor Colby looked sufficient. He looked better than almost anything they had last year at that spot. Where do you think the biggest weakness on the 49ers is after, you know, it's just a small sample size. It is just week one. But that does give us a snapshot into where this roster is. Would you say defensive tackles the biggest weakness on the team? Or would you go another spot? That's a good question. Because you the safety gave up,

9:26Jair Brown gave up one explosive. You had one explosive playing the air for 41 yards. So do you take the one explosive play and put that position above the four or five explosive runs on the ground, which total over 40 yards. It's got to be the defensive tackle when it comes to stopping the run from me because if you can stop the run, you will have to force the them to throw. And then nine times of the 10 are going to throw into mistakes. So I don't, I overall, I don't think the safety is that much of an issue. Are they going to take a chance and gamble? When I watched that Jair Brown play, I felt like he in his mind, he was going to gamble for the pick. And he just wasn't in the right position to gamble for the pick and boom, boom, boom. And then whoever was supposed to make that tackle. I thought it was Drake Greenle should have made that tackle to clean it up. But none of that happened. So I'll go with the gamble. They do that seven step drop from the one yard line, which was bananas. Scary, right? Then the run game just freaking steamrolled, bro. The catch and pass and run. It wasn't a screen. I don't believe to the tight end to Luke Farrell, but wow, he was underneath. He was wide open. He didn't cover him. That was a big play from Brock to Farrell. The key of Bosa was playing the key of Nick Bosa is activating everybody else. He's literally the key to that defense up front and in the secondary and in the mid tier of the game. Right. So like him being out there, his role and perfecting in and executing and looking sufficient as well as efficient. Like unleashed everybody else, right? So your linebackers are playing free. He was sending the edge like none other. I didn't know Nick Bosa was that good on edge. I'm going to be the first to say it. I didn't know he was that good on the edge, bro. Like he's gotten better and set in the edge. And so

18:46that's scary. That's why I said when we play H&N, H&N, bro, H&N is not going to be able to run to the outside, not on that side. And so they're going to push him up the middle and then we're going to get gashed. Nick Bosa, I thought I had an overall game. If I had to give him a grade for me, it was definitely a minus. Like I he didn't need to get to the he didn't he was getting pressure. He had the only tackle for a loss. Nick Bosa was the guy. He was good enough for me. He finished out any sex. Right. I think the John Lynch interview to test out the personality and all that type of stuff. I think that was huge. I think they're more looking at stuff that way, as well as skill set and all that type of stuff. The interview was a big process, part of the process, but I don't think he'll see that. I think he's, when he gets back, he's just got to be healthy. And if he's not healthy, then yeah, you probably won't see much of the John struggling. And at this point, we don't need him right now. And I know it's only one game in, but I rather him be healthy than him rushing back and not being healthy for the later

29:10part of the season. And I'll say this, like, Dishon Stribling was a rush crush player. Like, he was one of my favorite. I did have him 30, third overall, but I love the player because of the versatility and experience. You look at what Dishon Stribling can play all three wide receiver spots and he has. He has. So there's so many routes to play in time. And if even if you look at the Shannyhan doghouse, first in second round draft picks, play as rookies, bread at IU, Dibo, even Dante, Pettis. So whatever he spends that premium draft capital on them, they do play as rookies. Dishon Stribling wants to get back and wants his GPS and, you know, all those numbers get up. He is going to be in the rotation because there's just too many avenues to get him on the field. Yes. Y and the big fly. Yeah. You can do it all. So he'll be out there. Him in the sock. I want to see. Oh, how did that? I'd not tell you they were going to put Mike Evans in the slot. You're dead over and over again. So so Dishon Stribling will work perfectly fine

30:12in the slot. Perfect. Man, dude, I think it was. There were two, third downs in a row where he was in the slot. The Rams go to this dime package. And so you got Quentin Lake a safety manned up with Mike Evans in the slot. They ran a 10 yard out route both times. Both for good routes. Good routes. And he's looking all right. He's looking good. Yeah. Like he's still he has still tons of room to improve, right? But at the end of the day, I mean, I'm watching the guy beat his man and then get blind swiped every single play like from the side. Oh, yeah, I'm about to get to Corbal. He get hit from the side. Like if you that happened at least four or five times in this game. So I have zero problems with him being his man on the edge.
