#46 | Be The First One: Launching A Scholarship And Chasing BIG Goals Ft. Ryan Cass

One big goal that I recently publicized on social media was launching a scholarship fund named, Be The First One. This one is deeply personal on many levels and I share exactly why on this episode!

I launched this scholarship because I want to create an impact specifically for students who have been impacted by adverse situations at home that have been passed down; commonly referred to as a generational curse. I have a huge problem when it comes to the stats for youth who have faced an adverse situation at home whether it be alcoholism, drug abuse, mental abuse, etc. The odds are stacked against these youth to be more likely to carry on the trend, experience poverty, and cause trouble. Further, these youth likely do not have college funds waiting for them and there are nearly 45 million Americans facing student debt; I was one of them.

Having experienced pain from both angles, I am creating an opportunity for students to take action to break the cycle in their family and achieve financial independence faster.
