41. August Transitions: Optimize Your Environment for Fall's Busy Season
About this episode
I hope August has been treating you kindly so far! In today's episode, I'm talking about something that is top-of-mind for me right now. I've dedicated the month of August to transitioning. For me and our methodology inside the membership, fall is a season of progress. September can be a time for burnout and checking in with yourself.
This is an action-oriented episode today. We're taking inventory of our environments and collecting data so we can make the next best decision. I'll guide you through an exercise that asks you to list ten spaces you spend the most time in.
Then, you'll choose the top three that have the biggest impact on your time and list what you do in these spaces and how each space makes you feel. Next, you'll map out what you need to do to feel how you'd like and schedule a specific time on your calendar to make the necessary changes to reach that goal. We're cleaning up your environments to help you keep reaching goals with ease while feeling supported.
