#335 - The Great Kidnapping Caper - Aberdeen, South Dakota
About this episode
This week, in Aberdeen, South Dakota, a happy go lucky world is turned upside down, when a local mother gets a phone call, telling her that her 19 year old son has been kidnapped, and only a large ransom can save him. When the the person collecting the ransom is caught, he has several tales, that no one believes. Was the kidnapped man in on the scheme? Is he alive, and hiding? Or, has he been horribly murdered, brutalized, and left for dead on some distant farm??? What we do know is that this whole thing turns into a mystery of epic proportions, but the final resolution explains it all!!
Along the way, we find out that not just Kansas loves The Wizard of Oz, that people with money don't have to extort people, and that you should never plot to kill the governor's family!!
