I mean, I think like two of the sports and our top 10 were like his runs in that game. So we'll get to that. So we're trending upwards. No, no, last week you were the winning week. So I'm sorry? Yeah, no, last week you were the winning week because now I think you're five hundred. Yeah, five hundred. After we're really bad start. Jack, my producer will text me and I'll figure it out quickly. But all right, Oklahoma, Michigan. Oklahoma lost. You were laying the six points with the sooner. They lost to Michigan.

6:07Credit Michigan for a much better performance for going. Hey, we're going to run the ball with Underwood. And I know you're a big material guy. That was not a good material game. Now, especially when you think about what happened after he made such a great throw to the tight end beers. Where he threw it over the middle of the field was a touch throw, but he hit him in stride. I was like, okay, he's starting to settle down. But you know, at the end of the day, shout out to Michigan's defense because they play well against Western Michigan. And they also came back and played even better against a bigger opponent in Oklahoma. The offense just finally came to the party. That game. So shout out to Michigan's defense. But material, still a guy, still like his tools. We'll see how he continues to progress moving forward. Then you have Oregon and Oklahoma State. You laid the 22 and a half with the ducks. They lost. I have no idea how Oklahoma State went from getting smoked by Tulsa to beating Oregon.

7:12That was as legit as legit gets to Emory. Yeah, and you look at the previous game we talked about Michigan and Oklahoma. How do you make sense of how Michigan looked in week one, juxtaposed of how they looked now. And same thing for Oklahoma State. Oregon has been the most consistent in terms of how they have looked so far in two weeks, which is not good. So what we saw from Boise State in that game wasn't an anomaly. It was more of a side of things to come for Oregon. All right, Kentucky and Alabama. You took Kentucky getting the 10 and a half. Alabama at Kentucky took into the wood shed 4517. Yeah, things fell apart for them in the second half because at halftime this was looking like a live upset with Kentucky had a lead. So just couldn't hold the rope long enough as coaches like to say.

8:12Then we got a Ohio State Texas. You took Ohio State plus the one and a half. They lost by one point. That's where that half a point matters, Emory. It's funny because we watched the ending of that game in the press box of the Colorado State Southern Utah game. And as Texas was going forward the touchdown and I reminded everybody was like, kill the spray was one and a half. No, does Vegas know? You know. It is super, super impressive. Any big scouting takeaways from that one? Well, listen, the receivers are what you expected Jeremiah Smith looks like Andre Johnson reincarnated in my opinion. That's who I would compare his game to. He just is a big bully. Does what he wants out there on the field. Still up and down game for arch to be honest until the latter part of the ball game. You know, I feel like we're trying too hard to make arch be something that he's not yet.

9:17And I feel like allow him to be a college quarterback and to develop into play. Because this is his fourth year. So I'm almost at the point of saying what we're going to what we've seen is what we're going to get. It's not like we're talking about a red shirt freshman or something like that. You know, I think the expectations he'll never meet, but he's not a bad quarterback by no means stretch of the imagination. I think he's pretty good. What I don't see like an elite player when I watch him. I mean, his mobility is really a nice thing. That's where things that jumps out to me. And I'm sure he'll continue to get better. And fairness too is receivers had those drops early. Otherwise, the stat line would have been much better. Right. And especially the one that turned it to the interceptions. Like that's something that's just one of those fluky former NFL follies type interceptions. Right. You don't put that on.

10:17I know the whole dissertation was that's a bad throw versus the receiver should have called it. All things could be true. It's not necessarily a bad throw. Yeah, you could have hit him in stride, but I'd rather him just make the completion as opposed to trying to overshoot it. So that's more so on the receiver than it was on arch in my opinion. Next up, North Dakota State, you laid the three and a half with the first year FBS squad, the bison at Air Force. They got it done 38, 32. They're for real man and between them and what's shaping up to be a very good pack 12 conference. We may get two G five teams again or G six or G nine or G 15, whatever we're going to keep moving the goalposts of all these teams. You might get two of them in the college football playoff. Wow, that'd be fun. All right. What about Cal and Syracuse? You took the Cal bears on the road getting three and a half and they went there to Syracuse all the way across the country and one outright 2118.

11:24Sarah Sagatula, Sagatula, a Pellie. Sagatula Pellie is phenomenal. Like I just like his style, man. He's calming the pocket has outstanding, you know, arm talent in terms of like how he's able to lay her throes and fit the rolls in. That was the big reason why I took them plus the points and on CBS Sports, he's cute. I took them straight up to get the win because I just trust there are. I like how they're built out there at Cal. They'll be fun. They just ran into what now is looking like a bus all in UCLA. So they'll be right back in the mix. All right. What about San Diego State speaking of UCLA? San Diego State was getting 11 and a half. You took them UCLA one by 18. The Bruins off to a good start. And San Diego State was my pick to win the Pac-12. I also say earlier in the summer that this is a team that had the look of a squad that could go undefeated. The underrated team out the G 20. So when we look at San Diego State and UCLA, we just talked about them now looking like a bus saw.

12:30Well, they, you know, made light work of Cal last week and now they just made San Diego State looking like an FCS squad. No disrespect intended. That's how good Bob Chesney is as a coach. And that's how good this program is. UCLA may be one of these teams we're talking about as an, as an at large team in the CFP. Chesney's just such a good, some of these guys are just such good coaches. Chesney, signati and J.M.U. J.M.U. keeps getting them. At least some of them. It's impressive. BYU, you laid the seven and a half against Arizona. They won 28 17 and they had the hardest hit I've seen in years. Years, years, that was crazy. That was like a car crash. That was like an old school intro to NFL today. That was like a legit decleater. Welcome to college football, young man. But BYU once again, this was my big 12 champion pick in the preseason.

13:34And so right now we're off to a great start, but Arizona is still a very good football team. But BYU looks like a legit wagon. I can't wait to see. They got a great game this week. We'll talk about later. How about Mississippi State? You laid the point and a half on the road. On the road, they blew out the Golden Goat for a Minnesota 38 13. We talked about him in the summer. Camario Taylor, the freshman at Mississippi State. This is the kid that's going to help this team be in the mix and be a legit fly in the ointment in the SEC. They're already built like Mississippi State and the SEC in the trenches. That's a given. But now you have a quarterback. That's a plus one as a runner. But has tremendous arm talent and accuracy and is unflappable. He looked like the better quarterback on the field versus him and Drake Lindsey. Lindsey is more of a efficient guy like old school, you know, big body quarterback. But man, Camario Taylor is someone that's going to be a problem for a lot of teams.

14:34Kudos to you, by the way, for the over on Memphis, Boise State, over 55 and a half. That hit as Boise won the game 38 20. So 50 total points. By the way, you were six and four this week, six and three last week, two and six week one. So you're above the line. You're 14 and 13 overall now at this point. Well done, Emory. Let's move on to week three in college football. Don't go anywhere. I got to pay some bills real quick. We made it. We made it everybody. It's September. We have games. We're drinking LaBette Blue and LaBette Blue light because it's by far the best tasting light beer. Born in Canada, brewed in the US, LaBette knows a thing or two about rivalries.

15:35Here's the deal. There's nothing like tailgating. There's nothing like drinking LaBette Blue light while you're watching games, either in person or on TV. Crack a cold one. Roast your body responsibly. LaBette is brewed for the roast. Sensing a theme here, Emory, you're laying a lot of points with the hurricanes, laying 22 and a half at Wake Forest. That's a big number, but the canes appear to be on a mission. Listen, they're not playing around with their opponents. Usually teens try to play around with their food, not Miami. Yes, their food has been, you know, fast food, but it's still food nonetheless, right? And so this is another situation where there'll be a little bit tested. There'll be tested a little bit more, so with Wake Forest as opposed to what they saw versus Stanford and obviously versus Famue. So I will look at this and say, lay these points. Darien Menta is playing video game football, so is Malachi Tony, so is Mark Fletcher.

16:40Until I see otherwise, this is going to be a blind lay every week until I see a opponent worthy of taking them plus the points. Wow. That is impressive for the hurricanes. What about Texas Tech against Houston? The red raiders are laying nine and a half. Nine and a half seems like the right number, although Houston is off to a fantastic start. This was a game that everybody thought would have been a trap game for Texas Tech last year. When they had all those NFL players on defense, and I feel like this is a situation where the defense while it's not last year's defense is still pretty solid. Even though it kind of Wegman, remember him, however, one had him, QB1, you know, coming into the spring is ago based on like, based on like six throws. Exactly. We're seeing that with other quarterbacks again on the Twitter sphere, but Wegman is playing well, Makai Hughes. Remember him. It was at Tulane left Tulane to go to Oregon, didn't play.

17:40Was going to go play with his brother at Oregon, but now he's at Houston. He's a very good run back NFL prospect to watch. So Houston is definitely worthy of being ranked in the top 25. They'll make this a game, but I feel like 10 is the number. So that's why I'll ladies nine and a half with Texas Tech and Kenny Johnson as a receiver to keep an eye out. All right. Emory's laying the nine and a half. Who's Kenny Johnson played for? Texas Tech. Okay. I wasn't sure. All right. Louisville. Where did this quarterback come from? I never even heard of them. He's looked really good so far. They play SMU, which is probably why you're taking the over 59 and a half because Louisville. I'll tell you what, wherever he goes, Brown puts points up. Let's find he finds quarterbacks and he puts points out. He knows those two things. Kai Holes was at Ohio State. Now, can you imagine Ohio State put a athlete at quarterback like this? Like my goodness. And Kai Holes out there. I saw they did the, uh, so Twitter did his thing. That's why I'm never leaving the app.

18:40Twitter did his thing by putting the, uh, making the Marjacks and white and putting the Kai Holes jersey on them. Like after that game. So that's exactly what he's out there doing. He is playing phenomenal football. He's looking like trying to that champ listen how he's out there navigating and playing, uh, plus one football. So I like that that's going to make this game exciting. Louisville has the Brown connection in the backfield. You know, uh, Izzie Brown, Kiwai Brown. So they're going to score. Obviously, I feel like SMU is going to score, you know, Jennings is doing a very good job. They're explosive on offense. This may be one of the more exciting games of the weekend to be out. It's from a points perspective. So definitely take the over and don't leave the channel. Over 59 and a half. That is a high number. You would never see that number in the NFL on the even money betting podcast. I probably should say this now before I forget. Mississippi State, you're going back to the well with the dogs plus three and a half at South Carolina. This is a great matchup for a couple of reasons. Obviously the two spotlight players are on South Carolina side in terms of the draft Dylan Stewart. The tremendous talent at defensive end and La Nora sellers of quarterback that everyone's been talking about for three plus years now. But on the other side, you have Camarillo Taylor who we've been talking about all throughout the show.

20:45And the matchup to me is how Dylan Stewart having going up against La Nora sellers every day at practice. How he's able to manage and navigate taking down or defending Camarillo Taylor. I think this is going to be a fantastic X's and O's matchup. But I like Mississippi State. I trust in this brief stint as the starting quarterback Camarillo Taylor's consistency and throwing the football more so than La Nora sellers. Although he is coming off of a very good game. But this is the type of game where sellers can really write some wrongs and play a consistent game from start to finish something that we've seen already from Taylor. So I'll take Mississippi State plus the points. Mississippi State plus three and a half. What about Ole Miss hosting LSU? I mean, what a game. The juicy story lines. Ole Miss at home. Here comes Lane Kiffin back into va having way stadium there in Oxford.

21:45What do you think in Emory? Ole Miss, they have the best quarterback in this game. And that's Trinidad Chamblest who you know how I feel about Chamblest. He may move up from three to two in terms of my top quarterbacks in the NFL draft over Dante Moore. But behind Daryl Menser, but a star nonetheless. I'm surprised no one's talking enough about Chamblest and how he is an NFL player. And how he just looks the part plays the part and just is unflappable. And I don't have the word about him putting the ball in the harms way like Sam Levitt does. You know, I know Sam Levitt has crazy wild plays, but you can't keep turning it all over two times a game. And that worries me in this contest. What doesn't worry me is Chamblest. And that alone gives me confidence that they'll take care of business here at home. Ole Miss plus three for Emory. What about the present by draft king sports? Draft kings. The crown is yours. Use that code Ross. What about West Virginia against UVA?

22:46West Virginia is getting ten points. You taking them? I'm taking these points, man. I like the fact that they can score. Their quarterback Michael Hawkins has been impressive this season. Dual Threat guy. Anytime you have a dual threat quarterback, it gives a defense that wants to play just top down a problem. That's another reason why I kind of like LSU to not cover those points against Ole Miss because of Chamblest. And what he could do outside the exit of those, same thing here. And West Virginia, this is going to be a fantastic game too because Virginia is oldest. You know what, up front along the offensive line. So they could kind of dictate the terms, but West Virginia can strike quick. And they look a lot better this year than last year. So this one will be a blowout. I would say this one should be close to the five than ten. So give me the mountaineer's plus points. New Mexico is at Oklahoma. And I was just getting 23 and a half. Are you thinking the students are going to have a little bit of a hangover here? Yeah, sometimes people allow one loss to become two. But this is more of a tip of the cap to Jason Eck who is a phenomenal head football coach.

23:52He did great things at Idaho. And he has New Mexico playing like a team that could potentially be in this college football playoff conversation. And the one that he was a guy that he grabbed last year from the portal from who was a star at Montana State. Kind of set behind the scenes played a little bit, maybe a little bit red shirted, but he's now the lead guy. He's an explosive back. He's going to have big plays in this game. Their offense is a little bit difficult to defend. Moga is a tremendous quarterback as well. So they'll be game. They may not pull off the upset, but plus 23 and a half. I'll take those versus this team and this coach any day of the week. BYU Colorado State, the team you just saw Colorado State. Now they take on BYU and you like the over 52 and a half. Paul's Haney, the quarterback for Colorado State is Ross. He had a 75 yard touchdown run to really cap off their scoring. And he just hit the sideline, was able to tightrope and just extend.

24:53And the coaches told us during the meeting, Jamora told us that he is the best athlete on the team. Was a baseball player. This how he wanted to do football is funny. Here's the story. He said he would give up baseball if he didn't hit 250 in his last season. He hit 245. And he still gave up baseball. So like, you know, a man of his word gave it up out there playing football. And this this offense can score. Mel Brown is the running back that you talked about. Number one, the rail Robinson is the other running back. They have five tight ends that they utilize. And so expect this one to go over this. They scored, what, 58 points last week against something you told. And I think they could score with BYU BYU, but it bring their lunch bill. UCLA, we know we're both big Bob Jazzney fans. They play against Purdue. They're laying 16 and a half. It's a pretty big number. But this is a tip of the cap to their defense. I mean, look what they did.

25:53Both. Cal and also. San Diego State Purdue is is is looking better this year. Under barriot him in his second season there, but man, this is defense that Bob. And this I should have known Bob Chesney's defenses has always been the star of the show. Everywhere he's been. Not surprised with a better, you know, collection of talent. UCLA, he's getting the job done here. So I will take UCLA to. You know, not drop the ball here against we're doing the latest 16 and a half points. Last but not least Colorado. They play at Northwestern. And Colorado is getting three and a half points. Shout out to Colorado for. A touchdown in the first player of the game. Ju-Ju Lewis looks significantly better. All beat against Weber State, but still nonetheless he looked like how you expected a guy. That was a five star number one quarterback prostrate coming out of his high school class to look. And so that's good for his confidence.

26:53But the story this year for Colorado has been their defense and their run game. Who knew in the crazy part about their run game. They're running the football when they want to. That is the mark with team that could do it. The Montlester has been a star. And the reason why I knew he was going to be a star was because he was a star at my month. And I was like, man, his dude is going to be a draffable player coming out of my mother. He hit the portal. Ghost Colorado has four sacks already in two games. So this dude is great on defense. So for me, give me Colorado plus three and a half. Eight and a half. Eight and a half. The quarterback forward Northwestern has the potential to have a big game. I'm excited to see how he looks. Kind of reminds me of Johnson and how he plays a game. But you know, you look at this this match up here. I trust Colorado to go on the road, handle success well and take care of business. Love it.
