About this episode
Do you ever feel like you're riding a roller coaster of emotions?
Do you know it's possible to feel positive and negative emotions at the same time?
Listen up because today we are talking about the single and dual spectrum of emotions.
Single Spectrum often sets us up for disappointment and frustration. Perceiving our emotions on a single spectrum actually complicates our efforts to be happy.
Dual Spectrums of emotions reflect our ability to experience various emotions at various levels at the same time. An example of this would be giving birth, which creates feelings of pain and anguish but it also creates feelings of anticipation and excitement.
Happiness Homework:
1. Positivity Ratio
2. Gratitude
Quotes:
"Expectations breeds frustrations."
"If we think happiness is the absence of unhappiness, we will be constantly frustrated and disappointed."
