In this episode I sit down with Liz Lightfoot. Liz was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 12 and like most young diabetics diagnosed in the 90’s she struggled to find information on how to control her diabetes and befriend others with diabetes. Liz and I talk about her diagnosis story and the challenges she has faced along her journey.  Liz has also devoted her life to helping diabetics be fit and confident as a personal trainer and coach.
