Emmy van Deurzen is an existential psychotherapist and philosopher. She is the founder and director of the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling and the co-founder of the Existential Academy in London. She is a visiting professor with Middlesex University and the President of the worldwide Existential Movement.
Amongst her books are the bestseller Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling in Practice, Psychotherapy and the Quest for Happiness, Paradox and Passion and Rising from Existential Crisis.
