1 - Oppose this evil war

Australian Alert. The 31st of March, 2026. Oppose this evil war. Australia bears the

ignominy of being the first country to endorse Donald Trump's insane, and to quote Anthony

Albanese's mantra about the Ukraine war, illegal, immoral, unprovoked attack on Iran.

Now that support has blown back on us, in an unprecedented global energy crisis in which

Australia is one of the hardest-hit countries, and an escalating strategic crisis which threatens

the whole world. Experts, including UN officials, are warning that the use of nuclear weapons

is increasingly likely, not by Iran, which is not a nuclear threat, but most likely by Israel.

Take a stand. The depth of the crisis in Australia is entirely self-inflicted,

from decades of neoliberal stripping of our sovereign capacity, and we need a crash program to

reverse that. However, our overwhelming priority as a nation must be to end this evil war.

The Australian people must slam the Albanese labor government and the coalition and Pauline

Hanson's one nation for their insane support for this war, so that Australia can become a powerful

voice on the world stage, calling out Trump and Netanyahu's criminal lunacy in attacking Iran

in breach of international law. With Australia's history of fighting alongside the USA in every conflict

for a century, if our government ever took a stand against a US war, the US President would be

forced to explain to the American people why the Aussies aren't with them for once. Such an

action would strengthen anti-war voices in the USA, and may contribute to a political shift

that forces the White House to change course. In this regard, Australia carries a lot more

clout than most countries, but instead of using it we always go along with the madness. That must end,

and it's up to the Australian people to end it by slamming the pro-war parties so hard they

get a reality check. Vulnerable

The insanity of Australia's support for the war is underscored by the fact that we are the highest

per capita consumers of diesel in the world, making us the most vulnerable to the entirely

predictable oil shock. Our vulnerability is the result of decades of both major parties

stripping our nation of sovereign capability in all areas, because they were brainwashed in the

neoliberal ideology that claimed private interests motivated by profit would be more efficient at

meeting our economic needs than governments. This ideology was never sincere, but always a cover

for the biggest theft of public wealth in history, through privatization and outsourcing.

The Citizens' Party formed in 1988 in reaction to the very beginning of this ideology

hijacking the nation, and for our entire history we have fought against every policy that stripped

Australia of its national capabilities. The only mainstream politician to stand against the

ideology was Bob Catter, who quit the nationals over their obsession with deregulation and free

markets. Similar to the beginning of COVID, this current crisis has triggered a temporary consensus

that Australia needs to be more self-sufficient, but the very same politicians who said this in 2020

did nothing about it and abandoned it when the crisis abated. Barnaby Joyce and Andrew Hasty are

leading the chorus now, but when Hasty was questioned on ABC insiders about his call to make

Australia self-sufficient in oil, he agreed that any proposal had to stack up i.e. be profitable

for the private sector, which means it won't happen. The only coalition politician who was

genuine about sovereign capability was Gerard Renek, because he championed a national infrastructure

bank, so they got rid of him. The Citizens' Party and Renek, working together for a national bank,

are the one political force that both opposes this insane war and can be trusted to fight for

the economic solutions that will guarantee Australia is never vulnerable to such an energy crisis again.
