01/06-The new Social Security Fairness Act

On Sunday, January 5th, President Biden signed into law a measure called the Social Security Fairness Act that boosts Social Security payments for current and former public employees, affecting nearly 3 million people who receive pensions from their time as teachers, firefighters, police officers and in other public services.  I say, “it’s about time!” and we will explain why this afternoon on the Jon Sanchez Show at 3pm.
