Zhang Hao
Former principal of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute
Zhang Hao was a Chinese educator and administrator. He was born in 1879 in Jiangxi Province, China. Zhang Hao studied at the Imperial Academy in Beijing and later earned a degree in engineering from the Imperial University in Tokyo. He became the principal of the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in 1909 and played a key role in modernizing Chinese ceramic education.
