Yei Theodora Osaki was a Japanese author and illustrator best known for her children's books. She was born in 1875 and passed away in 1960. Osaki's works include the Japanese fairy tale 'The Jellyfish and the Monkey'. She is considered one of the most important Japanese children's book authors of the early 20th century.
