Xavier Giannoli is a French film director and screenwriter. He was born in 1955 in Paris, France. Giannoli is known for his work on films such as 'The Son of the Prophet' and 'Timbuktu'. He has received several awards for his work, including the César Award for Best Director. Giannoli is also a professor at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris.
