William Sydney Porter
American author and short story writer
William Sydney Porter was an American writer, best known for his short stories, particularly those featuring the character of Mark Twain. He wrote under the pseudonym O. Henry. He is known for his clever plots and unexpected endings. O. Henry was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, and died in New York City. He is considered one of the greatest short story writers of all time.
