Wang Yang is a Chinese lawyer and politician. He is a prominent human rights advocate and a former member of the Chinese Communist Party. Wang has been a vocal critic of the Chinese government's human rights record and has been imprisoned for his advocacy. He is currently a professor at Tsinghua University.
