Japanese painter

Kawabata Gyokuto (, 1873–1957) was a Japanese painter. He was born in 1873 and died in 1957. He was a prominent figure in Japanese art during the Meiji and Taisho periods. He was known for his landscapes and seascapes, and his work was highly regarded by the Japanese art community. He was also a prolific artist, producing over 1,000 paintings during his lifetime.
