Tony Kushner is an American playwright and screenwriter. He is best known for his play "Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes", which won numerous awards, including the Pulitzer Prize. Kushner has also written for film and television, including the screenplay for the film "Munich". He is known for his work on LGBTQ+ issues and has been a prominent voice in the American theatre community.
