The Commodores were an American funk band. Formed in 1968, the band consisted of Lionel Richie, Walter Adams, Jack Ashford, William King, and Michael Bland. They are best known for hits like 'Brick House' and 'Easy'. The band released several albums and won numerous awards, including multiple Grammy Awards. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
