Sunny von Bülow was an American socialite and the wife of Claus von Bülow. She was the victim of an attempted murder in 1981 and was left in a coma for several years. Von Bülow was later retried and acquitted in 1984. She has become a figure of fascination in the true crime community and has written several books about her experiences. Von Bülow passed away in 2011 at the age of 74.
