Sima Qian was a Chinese historian, diplomat, and politician. He is best known for his historical writings, particularly his book 'Records of the Grand Historian'. Sima Qian was a prominent figure in the Han dynasty and served as a historian, diplomat, and governor. He is considered one of the greatest historians in Chinese history and his works are still studied today.
