Shelton Brooks
Shelton Brooks was an American jazz pianist, composer, and arranger. He was one of the first African-American musicians to achieve success in the 1920s and 1930s. Brooks wrote or co-wrote over 100 songs, including the popular 'I'll Get By' and 'He's in Town Tonight'. He worked with notable artists such as Al Jolson, Louis Armstrong, and the Duke Ellington Orchestra.
