Rick Scott is an American politician serving as the senior United States Senator for Florida. A member of the Republican Party, Scott has been a vocal advocate for conservative policies and has been a strong critic of liberal policies. Before entering politics, Scott served as the Governor of Florida from 2011 to 2019. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and served in the U.S. Navy as a naval aviator.
