Salamah bin Amr bin al-Akwa' was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad and a prominent figure in early Islam. He was born in Taif, Saudi Arabia, and studied Islamic sciences at the University of Medina. He was known for his piety and his role in the early Islamic community. He was also a skilled Arabic linguist and had translated several Islamic texts into Persian.
