Newborn began playing piano at the age of 4 and went on to study at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. He has released numerous albums and has collaborated with notable musicians such as Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington. Newborn is known for his unique blend of jazz and blues styles.
