Philippe Gilbert is a Belgian professional road racing cyclist. He was born on August 5, 1987, in Châteauroux, France. Gilbert is known for his time trial and individual pursuit skills, and has won numerous titles, including the World Championships. He has also had success in the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia. Gilbert is married to his wife, Aurelie, and has a daughter named Luna.
