Mohammed bin Rashid Al Busaidi was born in Muscat, Oman. He graduated from the University of Paris. Before becoming a diplomat, Al Busaidi worked as an engineer and later served as a member of the Omani parliament. He has been involved in various international efforts to resolve Middle Eastern conflicts.
