Mustafa Said is an Egyptian author and literary critic. He is best known for his novel 'The Castle', which explores themes of power, identity, and social hierarchy. Said has also written extensively on literary theory and criticism, and has edited several volumes of essays on Arabic literature. He is currently a professor of literature at the American University in Cairo.
