Mohamedsalem Werad
Mohamedsalem Werad is a Saharawi filmmaker and activist. He is the co-founder of Saharawi Voice, a collective of citizen journalists and filmmakers based in the Western Sahara refugee camps in south-west Algeria. Werad has worked extensively on documenting the struggles and experiences of the Saharawi people, and has received several awards for his work. He is also the co-director of the documentary Haiyu.
