Martin J. Klein was an American physicist and historian of science who made significant contributions to the field of thermodynamics. Born on April 26, 1926, in New York City, Klein was a prominent figure in the American scientific community and was known for his work on the history of thermodynamics. He was awarded the American Physical Society's National Medal of Science in 1998 for his contributions to science.
