Mariam Kvaratskhelia is a 31-year-old Georgian activist who is one of the country's first openly lesbian activists. She is the founder of the Pride of Tbilisi and has been a key figure in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights in Georgia. Mariam has faced persecution and violence for her activism, including the murder of a cameraman at her first Pride parade.
