María Michelsen
Former First Lady of Colombia
María Michelsen was the wife of President Alfonso López Pumarejo and served as the First Lady of Colombia from 1934 to 1938. She was a prominent figure in Colombian society and was known for her philanthropic work. Michelsen was also a strong advocate for women's rights and was a pioneer for women in politics. She passed away in 1979.
