Maria Hinojosa

Journalist and author Maria Hinojosa was the first Latina in every newsroom she worked in. She is a longtime host of NPR's Latino USA and has reported on various topics including immigration, politics, and social justice. Hinojosa has also written several books and has been recognized for her work as a journalist and advocate. She is currently a professor at the University of Texas at Austin.
