Mahreen Sohail is a Pakistani-American author, journalist, and editor. She was born in Pakistan and moved to the United States as a refugee. Sohail has written for several publications, including The New Yorker, The Paris Review, and Granta. Her writing explores themes of identity, culture, and social justice. She is also a recipient of several awards for her work, including the prestigious PEN/Faulkner Award.
