Lawrence Block is a Pulitzer Prize-winning American crime writer. He is best known for his crime fiction novels, particularly the Bernie Rhodenbarr series. Block has written over 50 novels and has won numerous awards for his work. He is also a professor of English at the University of Southern California. Block's writing often explores themes of crime, morality, and the human condition.
