Kendall Tate is a historian of food, culture, and identity. He has written for The New York Times, Smithsonian Magazine, and other publications. His work explores the intersections between food, history, and power. Kendall is also a fellow at the Southern Foodways Alliance. When he's not writing or teaching, he enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes.
