Joshua Dolphin is a 27-year-old individual who led police on a high-speed chase in Leicester. He was driving a stolen Alfa Romeo with fake plates, reaching speeds over 70 mph. Dolphin crashed the vehicle, causing a serious arm injury and totaled both cars. He was found with cannabis and admitted to multiple charges including aggravated vehicle taking and driving without insurance. Dolphin has a history of ten prior convictions, including drink-driving. He claimed he was trying to pay off a drug debt and panicked when police appeared. He was sentenced to 30 months in jail.
