Jody Potts-Joseph is a Native Hän Gwich’in musher from Alaska. She is a rookie musher who withdrew from the Iditarod due to a harrowing encounter with a bison. Potts-Joseph is also the mother of Quannah Chasinghorse, a prominent Indigenous model. She is an advocate for Indigenous rights and has used her platform to raise awareness about the importance of preserving Indigenous cultures and traditions.
