Jim O'Callaghan is an Irish politician serving as the Minister for Justice and Equality since 2017. He was first elected to Dáil Éireann in 2016, representing the constituency of Kildare. Prior to his ministerial appointment, O'Callaghan served as a TD for the constituency of Kildare from 2015 to 2016. He is a member of the Fianna Fáil party and has been a strong advocate for criminal justice reform.
