Jim Kjelgaard
American author and outdoorsman
Jim Kjelgaard was an American author and outdoorsman best known for his children's books and short stories. He was born in 1916 and died in 2000. Kjelgaard was a prolific writer who wrote over 50 books, including the popular 'Wilderness Adventure' series. He was also a skilled hunter and outdoorsman who spent much of his life exploring the wilderness.
