Jim Adkins is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the American rock band Jimmy Eat World. Born on December 4, 1976, in Mesa, Arizona, Adkins rose to fame in the early 2000s with the band's hit single "The Middle". He has also released solo material and collaborated with other artists.
