Jewell Pitts

Jewell Yvette Cobbs Pitts was a Montgomery native and dedicated public servant. She worked with the Alabama Department of Mental Health and supported Special Olympics. Pitts was a competitive athlete and competed in national senior games. Her legacy lives on through events like Jewellfest and the Jewell Joy Cup. She was posthumously honored as the Adult Female Athlete of the Year for 2025 in pickleball and tennis.
