Jean-Pierre Michel is a French structural engineer who has spent his career studying and working on the Eiffel Tower. He is a professor at the École des Ponts ParisTech and has written several books on the subject. Michel is known for his expertise on the tower's design and construction, and has given numerous lectures on the topic. He is also a member of the Eiffel Tower's management committee.
