The Japanese Prime Minister is the head of government of Japan, serving as the chief executive of the country. The current Prime Minister is Fumio Kishida, who has been in office since 2021. The Prime Minister is responsible for leading the government and making key decisions on policy and diplomacy. They are also a member of the Japanese parliament, known as the Diet.
