James Esseks is the director of the ACLU LGBT & HIV Project. He has worked on a wide range of issues related to LGBTQ+ rights, including marriage equality, transgender rights, and HIV/AIDS. Esseks has been with the ACLU since 2009 and has been a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. He is a graduate of Harvard University and has a law degree from Yale University.
